CWA Novella

I’m spectacularly pleased to have been asked to take part in a novella writing promotion to celebrate the launch of a new series called the Crime Thriller Club  – sponsored by Specsavers – on ITV3. The promotion will be called YouDunnit:

The series finale will be the CWA Crime Thriller Awards 2013. In August, the Crime Writer’s Association asked social media users to crowdsource the key details for a crime novella. Then I and two other Penguin authors (Nicci French and Tim Weaver) will each write our own version of a story using these ‘landmarks’. The promotion begins on Monday 16th September, after which we’ll be provided with details such as: a victim name, a criminal, and a location for the story. Then we’ll each produce our own versions of the story, which will be released together as an eBook, and via social media channels, in time for the Awards, including the coveted CWA Daggers, due to air on ITV3 at the end of October.

Follow the story on Twitter and get involved. Just search for: #youdunnit
